Bloomington Trip

[My Bible study...eh Chelsea...secretly schemed with my mom to bake me this cake. It's my Gramma's recipe and a common treat for any Bandera celebration! Can you imagine my surprise?!]

Have you ever been overwhelmed by others' love for you?
I imagine it's what a girl feels like on her wedding day.

My time in Bloomington has been like a wedding for me. People I love surround me, dance with me, rejoice with me, encourage me, pray over me, remind me of who I was, am, and hope to be, and all the while, my Groom is holding my hand beside me and smiling. HE knows what I'm leaving to be with Him. It's a favorable feeling that is hard to live under for an entire week's time (yet alone a lifetime!) so I find myself 'coping' with many tears and many moments with my face to the ground.

To all my family in this area--
Thank you.
I love you.

(Now excuse me while I combine my two coping methods!)

Barbara you expressed the exact words of my heart!! This last week, I feel like a girl getting married!! Exactly right!! I'm overwhelmed by how much our Heavenly daddy is watching out for us, because he surrounds us with such a host of people also watching out for us!

I'm humbled and amazed!
