BUNGOMA, KENYA 2004

Until I learn how to create photo albums here, I'll give you glimpses into my past experiences in Kenya. I spent about 3 months in the beautiful Western Province of Kenya, teaching 48 first graders at Epico Jahns Academy. The morning rooster started his crowing around 4am. Students greeted me as "Madam Bobrra," while Mama Betty lovingly called me "binti yangu", "my daughter." My memories of Kenya are colored by the people, the land, the songs, and the rhythm. Oh, the rhythm!
